To people out there who THINK they are sooo smart should MAYBE DOUBLE check my name before thinking I supposedly “stole” my own artwork. Just because my “sketchaholic” blog has nothing to do with the “FK” in my logo, does not mean that is NOT my initials.
Maybe you should do some research and LOOK up for my actual blog or even GLANCE at the side bar to the left to see what my URL for my website / portfolio is which would then bring about the obvious fact of why my logo says “FK”.
And no offence, I don’t want to make 10 million different logos just to post on different sites. “FK” should represent all since that IS my initials after all.
Stupid ass idiots frustrate me.
/end rant.

A butterfly made of silk stockings and rainbow colored wires for the body and antenna perched ever so gently over a lily to collect its wonderful pollen to spread it to flowers all over the world.
Something so delicate can only mean one thing, a special day for a special person in my life. Happy Birthday Daddy!

Here’s a “bouquet” of my first batch attempt of four different types of flowers, minus the blue carnation one and with the addition of a orange/yellow tulip on the side. Didn’t like the tulip much, as it doesn’t really resemble a realistic flower. The flow is just… somewhat off.
All are made of stocking / silk entwined with wires. They make for nice decorations, I think . Now I just need to find the perfect vase for them….. IKEA.. here I come…. sometime… in the near future >.>….

So yeah, I have been on a sketching drought lately, just don’t really feel motivated in the least.
But have been learning to make silk flowers a whole lot recently, so here’s another silk flower made of stocking and meticulous weaving of wires and textile and such.
Technically it’s supposed to be an orchid, but from that angle, I thought it was kind of cool how a heart shape could be seen from the bending and placement of certain petals, making it more than just an orchid.
Could be found: here as well.

One of my all-time favourite flowers in the world: a single red rose!
And this time, this one would never wither, as afterall, it is a silk red rose with gold wire rims, making it just that much more precious.
Made this rose for a certain someone

Another flower, another week. This time it’s a stocking Lily :)
I don’t think the camera angle I used did it any justice, so I may re-post this another time.

This was posted on my main blog as well. Although it is not a sketch piece, it is still considered a type of art form, so thought I would post it on here anyways. Plus, I haven’t posted in awhile now.

Quote from Main Blog:
Went to Scarborough yesterday with my two aunts and there we learned to create flowers out of stockings *-*! Each and every one of the flowers on display required timeless winding and weaving. Just that one flower shown above took me 2 hours to complete…….. :)
But in my opinion, it was totally worthwhile and if I were to be given the chance to redo everything or learn to make other types of flowers, I would totally leap to the chance!
Maybe one day I’ll have a whole bouquet of stocking flowers xD!
